This oversized bronze statue depicts a WWI kneeling soldier, helmet in hand, in remembrance of his fallen comrade. The sculpture was donated to the City through contributions from local school children, Veterans Affairs, Canadian Legion, municipal, and federal sources to complete the top feature of the existing cenotaph.

The new Cloverdale Recreation Centre will have a dynamically changing illuminated glass wall dividing the Wellness Centre from the building foyer. This work includes 18 tubes of diffusing light, which slowly rotate according to activity in the foyer area. Each tube forms a different pattern based on Cloverdale's topography.
